Choose the weight of the blanket at least 10% of your body weight.You can choose from 7% to 13% of your weight,but usually 10% of your body weight plus 1 is the more proper choice. Due to its weight, it's not necessary to choose oversized blanket.
Weighted blanket should be smaller than your same size regular blanket to help concentrate the weight of your body,so it is normal to feel the size is small.
Weighted blanket don't need to cover the whole bed,if you can wrap it around yourself,it can work!
It's normal to feel heavy at first,this feeling will disappear in 3-7 days gradually.

I use it with cooling sheets so it can slip off the bed if you use those.
I like the cooling feel and weight of the blanket. I went with 15 pound weight and that is just right for me.
